Our product “Calcium + Magnesium” is really an all-rounder for the support of the bones, musculature and heart. The reason: Both vital mineral nutrients which are included in our product, are absolutely natural and the proportion of both substances is very balanced. Apart from water, which can make up half of our body weight, the human organism is mainly made up of protein. The elements, however, that provide the human organism with strength and stability are minerals – magnesium and calcium in particular. Overall the human body comprises more calcium than any other mineral and it is indispensable for ensuring the health of our teeth and our 215 bones. Its calcium is all-natural and thus features the high degree of bioavailability of, believe it or not, 96%. In comparison: Oyster shells, commonly believed to contain the highest level of all-natural calcium, is "only" digested and used to 67% by the body. And quite frankly, how would that look if you were to nibble on oyster shells every day? The sea alga Lithothamnium calcareum does not taste and we harvest it from the cleanest ocean water of the European Atlantic coast. Lithothamnium calcareum contains an all-natural compound of all minerals and trace elements. Its content of calcium, however, is extremely high; it consists to one third of pure calcium. Magnesium can be found in large quantities as magnesite in nature. Beside dolomite it is the most important magnesium-mineral and from this substance we extract our magnesium. Magnesium is also a mineral nutrient, which is generally responsible for many functions in the body. It can be used for the support of the energy-metabolism, the musculature and the heart. But this important mineral can also support the hormone insulin. As our magnesium is organically, it has a very high bioavailability – independent from the acid concentration in the stomach, which should be available in sufficient quantities in cheap magnesium-salts, for resorption. Also in the small intestine, organic magnesium compounds can be reabsorbed better. The product “Calcium + Magnesium” is completed by the legendary microalga Spirulina, which contains many other important minerals and trace elements. We recommend taking 6 tablets daily.
